Please get familiar with these rules before submitting your entry or commenting on submitted design.
1.
These
are the general rules for public design competition organised by Cardboard Concept
represented by Wanda Charuk in UK
2.
Competition
is available for everyone over 18 years old (at the date of submitting the
entry)
3.
Competition
is available for individual designers- professionals and enthusiasts or design
companies
4.
Target
of the competition is to choose two designs- one in each category- jury award
and fans award , entries can be submitted between 0.00am 1st June 2012 and 23.59pm 30th October 2012 (Greenwich time)
5.
Entries
are submitted via email on competition@cardboardconcept.co.uk and all completed submissions will
be published on competition’s blog and Cardboard Concept Facebook page for
public review before choosing finalists.
6.
Competitors
are required to submit their details and allow for publishing their designs and
usage of data for competition purposes only.
7.
Competitors
are allowed to submit more than one design.
8.
Additional
information will be required from finalists to establish further co-operation
with Cardboard Concept (full address ,
telephone number, agreement contract)
9.
Competitors
by submitting their designs allow for usage of their designs for promotional
purposes by Cardboard Concept.
10.
Cardboard
Concept holds the right to compress/ resize file sizes submitted by competitors
without previous request.
11.
Cardboard
Concept can remove the submission if is regarded as uncompleted or does not
follow rules of the competition.
12.
Submission
can be excluded from the competition of regarded as offensive or being and
advertisement of different subject than Cardboard Concept.
13.
Entries
will be judged by the jury (in jury category award) and by public (fans award-
based on the amount of positive comments and likes )
14.
Each
of the jury members will judge the entry individually and give short written
description which will be available on request after closing the competition,
but not published on the blog/site/facebook during competition. Also points
will be given (5-highiest score, 1-lowest). Entries judged not only on
creativity and uniqueness of the design, but also from the practicality of use
and buildability point of view.
15.
One
entry can be chosen as a finalist of both categories.
16.
Jury’s
decision is final. Jury also approves vote count on public award which makes it
final.
17.
Cardboard
concept is willing to public all comment left by readers, but holds the right
to remove comments which are offensive, vulgar
or bully in any way to the competitors, submissions, jury or the
Organiser of the Competition
18.
Agreement between finalists and Cardboard
Concept regards creating prototype based on final design and putting it to the
standard product line will be based on separate contract agreement which rules
are not described in here.
19.
Cardboard
Concept doesn’t take responsibility for copyright infringement committed by
competitors.
